Tools for the Mobile Spectroscopist
There are four different editions of MobiSpec; the licensing terms vary according to the edition which you wish to use.
MobiSpec Evaluation Edition
This base version is free to use for academic, private and non-commercial purposes. It supports the JCAMP-DX, andi(AIA)/MS and Thermo GalacticTM file formats. The evaluation edition can be freely downloaded from this website.
Note that if you use the evaluation edition for commercial purposes after the initial evaluation period has expired, you are required to purchase a license. Academic, private and non-commercial users may continue to use the MobiSpec evaluation edition indefinitely.
MobiSpec Standard Edition
The Standard Edition is intended for professional users; in addition to the file formats supported by the evaluation edition, this version can also read and display data from Waters RPT files.
MobiSpec Standard Edition is not available for download; please contact sales@mobispec.com to purchase a license. We recommend that you download the evaluation edition first, in order to see MobiSpec in action and to verify compatibility with your mobile device.
MobiSpec Edition for Shimadzu PsiPortTM
For users of the Shimadzu PsiPort data review system, we offer a special edition of MobiSpec which is capable of browsing the PsiPort database and displaying the data for a particular sample. Note that a network-equipped Pocket PC is required in order to establish a connection to the PsiPort server.
MobiSpec Professional Edition
This comprises both the Standard and PsiPort editions of MobiSpec in a reduced-price bundle, offering a significant saving for the professional user.
The following table lists the retail prices for single MobiSpec licenses. Discounts are available for multiple-license purchases.
